My role within the House of Commons Defence Select Committee often includes diplomatic and information-sharing trips to other countries in order to strengthen our ties with key allies and deepen our relations with defence partners.
Recently, I travelled with other members of the Committee to meet Indian defence representatives and discussed areas where we can collaborate to achieve our ambitions for safety in the Indo-Pacific and, by-extension, here in the UK.
India is a truly magical country and stole my heart a little – absolutely breath-taking and a wonderful welcome.
