Emma visited South Tyneside College and Marine School on Wednesday and was shown around by Lindsey Whiterod, Principle and Chief Executive, as well as Les Watson, Chair of Governors.
Emma was shown the work the College and Marine School have been doing in numerous areas including hairdressing, engineering and marine training. Also during her visit she saw the innovative schemes being put into place at the College and School.
Emma said:
“The college has changed so much since the last time I was there. I am really impressed at the ways they are approaching leaning, with a range of different schemes using practical and real training opportunities to make sure their students get the most from their time studying there.”
